Seeking Qualified and experienced Linespersons

Our partner in Australia is seeking qualified and experienced Linespersons who meet the following criteria:

• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time, verifiable experience as a Linesperson, including at least 1 year within the past 5 years. • Voltage Experience: Hands-on experience working on transmission lines of 230kV and above. • Working at Heights: Proven ability to climb and work at heights of up to 70 metres for extended periods. • Technical Experience Must Include: • Stringing of new transmission towers • Conductor clipping • Sagging and termination of conductors, including installation of line spacers • Installation of vibration dampers on conductors • Sagging conductors using the two-span method • Use of hot sticks • Tensioning of conductors from platforms and Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) • Clamping of conductors from EWPs and ladders • Drawing of wire, twin (minimum) conductor, and OPGW run-out under tension • Installation of spacers using line carts • Preferably experienced in working with quad conductors • Experience stringing over 5km of new transmission lines
